Luce was born in Wānaka, by a team of four creatives who wanted to do wedding photography and film a little differently.

We know how much can happen in a single wedding day, and we didn’t want couples to have to choose what gets captured. With our team working across photography, film and candid phone-shot moments, we can be in four different places at once, catching the moments you’re part of and the ones you might’ve missed, but get to relive forever.

The name Luce comes from the Italian word for “light”. For us, light is about more than what’s in front of the camera. It’s the atmosphere, the people, the energy and the moments that make your wedding yours. That’s what we look for, and what we want you to remember.
